[August/23] How much I earned last month? — Strategy to grow my niche sites and Blog
In this article, I will cover a bit about my recent results from my soloprojects, some new strategies I am implementing in project development
Hello solopreneurs. In this article, I will cover a bit about my recent results from my soloprojects, some new strategies I am implementing in project development, and how I am reinvesting the earnings into other sources of income. I will also address why I haven’t shared any videos for quite some time and what you can expect from my blog in the coming months.
Updates on my Blog
If you follow my blog here on Substack, you may have noticed that I haven’t published any new articles for some time now — exactly one month, to be precise, as the last article was published on July 4th. I used to have a routine of writing an average of one to two articles per week, but I decided to change that routine simply because I didn’t see a difference in the number of readers whether I wrote 2 articles per week or just one quality article per month. Another reason is that I have been focusing a lot on creating content for niche sites (SideHustlify.com, MoneyMakers.app, AIProductHub.com, etc.), so I have very little time left for writing content on Substack.
For this reason, I’ve decided that from now on, I will write a single monthly article with an update on my progress as a solopreneur, including my monthly earnings, learnings, progress, successes, and failures of my projects. This way, I can deliver something with higher quality and detail, while also having more energy and time to dedicate to my other niche projects.
Strategy for Niche Sites
One of my current focuses is creating niche sites with original articles and the possibility of building a community on these sites. It’s like a forum, but with the added benefit of specialized articles to attract new users through SEO and enable the community to engage with the content.
Remote-Work.app: Focus on sharing and discovering remote work opportunities.
SideHustlify.com: Sharing and discovering ways to make money online through side hustles.
MoneyMakers.app: Sharing and discovering information about making money through various means.
AIProductHub.com: Sharing and discovering artificial intelligence tools.
The results are positive; the number of registered users is growing steadily and sustainably. Perhaps more engagement is needed; I might need to improve the site structure to encourage content creation and sharing.
Here are the results from Google Search Console for SideHustlify.com:
They’re not fantastic, but they show some growth. The strategy I’ve been using is to create content focused on SEO, using keywords with reasonable search volume and low competition.
Next Project
Currently, the Remote-Work.app application has over 4000 registered users and is clearly worth investing in. For this reason, I’m planning to upgrade the project to become a kind of social network for remote workers, using the same technology I’m employing for the other projects mentioned above. Any ideas on how to monetize this application?
How Much I Earned in July/2023?
I’ll also start sharing the results of my current projects. Here are the results:
AdSense: $180
Medium: $60
CoMaker.ai Sales: $510
Total: $750
I’ve set a goal for this year to achieve a monthly income of $1000 from my independent projects. I believe I’m on the right track, although the main source of income from last month seems to be declining, and subscribers are starting to leave the CoMaker.ai application. I’m confident that the new projects I’m creating can grow and offset this reduction in revenue.
And that’s it for now. How about you? Have you started any projects recently? Feel free to share with us.
Cheers,
